Least Grebe

Three firsts from the lower Rio Grande, Texas area. The first two, according to the NatGeo field guide, are normal in just the southern tip of Texas. I would have liked to spend more time in this area. The lower Rio Grande apparently is one of the few places in the US to see some sub-tropical bird species. The weather was terrible. I was soaked and caked in mud while carrying my camera in a garbage bag.On blackMy stocklist
