Snowy Owl

Went out yesterday with my Dad looking for Snowy Owls. Struck out in DeKalb, but did spot this one in LaSalle County near the nuclear generation station and wind farm. Below is as first seen. Too far for a wildlife shot so went for a scenic instead (owl is lower right corner). Went to Starved Rock for a few hours and came back to catch the Snowy in some nice sunset light.View large on blackwww.hardrain1.com
