Cooper's Hawk - with prey

Bolingbrook, Illinois. This is the "after" shot, straight from the camera. I was driving by Bolingbrook Golf Course and saw this guy eyeing up some prey. Pulled over and waited. He dropped down and grabbed a bird (ID anyone?). I pulled in closer and he put on a sunrise show. By the end, I was in range for full frame head shots.View large on blackMy stocklist
