Horses of Assateague Island

The island has a couple hundred feral descendants of the domesticated horse. To this point I have never posted a photo of a captive or domestic animal. This may be a gray area. They live as wild animals but they seem very comfortable around people. The population is thinned regularly with the excess horses going to auction.Large on blackMy stocklist
