Gray Seal - Acadia, Maine

Gray Seal - Acadia, Maine

On the road the last two weeks. Started in Pittsburgh for business meetings and added some vacation time. Did the Forest Gump method again. Just kept going until I hit an ocean then turned around. Slept in the car at rest areas and Walmarts. Ended up in Maine at Acadia National Park. I got on a wait list to see the puffins on Machias Seal Island, but the first open spot was just too late in the week and I had to get home...This shot was from the shore. I saw three of these over the course of a few days. They would pop up, look around, and disappear. Would have liked to observe them on land. Thanks yeimaya for the ID...Illinois is not the best training ground for marine mammals. My stocklist
