Green Heron (Uncropped/Immature)

Kayed the DuPage River with my Dad. We saw a green heron fly through an opening into a flooded floodplain. We followed and were able to, over about half an hour, slowly drift right up to it. It was squawking away, but would not fly. Unfortunately, it was backlit, but it did allow for quite a few closeups. This image is not cropped.www.hardrain1.com
